  • Finding out that my pet Harley had cancer was a very trying time for me and my husband. Researching and trying to find solutions for him then realizing we would have to plan his final rest became more than I could bear. I found Schoedinger and Roberta was very caring and helpful in our time of grief and sorrow. Thank you so much Roberta for your compassion and help with the care for Harley. May God bless you and your family....Thank you again with love, Tonya

Upper management seems ok. Had to put my cat to sleep, when called to check status did not get a return call for 3 days even after leaving a voice message with phone number and pets name. When called 3 days later Reberta one of the managers answered, when ask about my cat, I was immediately verbally attacked for not knowing the process, pretty much demanded payment. I was truly nervous after talking to her that she would toss my cat in a dumpster and give me old ashes. Called a week later even worse treatment from Michelle, when tried to complain to Reberta again just snowballed. I fear that the ashes are not my cat "Lily" I was never told anything about what to expect, how to order an urn, so I got a bag when I got there and took more verbal abuse. Would really recommend going elsewhere. Took a bad situation and made the 2 weeks until I got my cat back a living hell. Told "Order an urn online and we'll mail it to you" by Kevin Shoedinger day after. Sadly the V.A. uses this home for veterans killed overseas won't even get into that. Just expected a bit more professionalism. Sadly instead of getting the option to get a nice urn with "Lily" engraved on it like I would have loved. I got a wooded box in a bag upside down with a sticker "49864" facing up. Well, they can aways mail me one now and I can pour the ashes myself.

  • Recently, my husband and I had to say good-bye to our rough-coat Jack Russell Terrier. While our vet does not contract with Schoedinger, they allow their clients to choose whatever funeral service they wish. We requested Shoedinger, as we had been happy with their previous services.

Their services have only improved. They treated Rizzo with the respect she deserved. Individual cremation is standard practice. Your buddy with *not* be mixed up with the ashes of some unknown critter. They present the ashes (I hate the euphemism, "cremains") to you in a lovely box for which you can order a custom name plate. They provide a booklet containing the "Rainbow Bridge" story, a footprint of your companion, clippings of fur, and some excellent advice and resources for the people left grieving.

Their staff is warm, helpful, and caring. They are also animal lovers, which explains to me why they are so respectful of our companions when their earthly journey is at an end.

I can't recommend them too highly. Schoedinger's pet services are wonderful.
